You're right - a live band is much more fun, the only problem is you're stuck with them. If a DJ sees he's not getting the response he wants, he can change the type of music he plays on-the-fly. All the bands I've ever seen stick to a predetermined set.

Don't think so: They do have the same "cover" philosophy that we have (we make sure there's a "backup" photographer available in case we break our legs the morning of a wedding) but not sure if they promote other DJs too. He was in an AC/DC tribute band named AC/DO - now disbanded
He plays blues, R&B and Rock
Rob Livesey Band with 3 bands named according to style - see his 'music and media' link - plays British stage at Colne festival and at pub venues at Burnley Blues every year.
