Does it not have a filter, or has someone removed it? Older ones have one actually inside the drain pipe before the pump. You can lean them without taking the pipe off from underneath.

The pump has gone on it, hopefully will be all fixed tonight!!

Unfortunately I am at work so can't view the vid Neil but I am sure I can find many reasons for you to hide from me tomorrow night :D
