Lost mi play thing
 

HA i thought that would attract some interest ;)

anyway i genuinley have lost mi play thing, i was messing about deleting stuff off my pc the other day (cos i was bored and didnt have the net)
and i accidently deleted solitaire :(

anyone know how i can get it back? :D

Can't remember off hand and I haven't got windows available to check it but I just did a quick Google and come up with this
"If you are missing Solitaire in Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP to reinstall the application go to Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add-remove Programs / click the tab that says "Windows setup" / double-click on the accessories icon / check the games icon / click ok / click apply, if the icon is checked uncheck it and then say ok then apply then do the above steps."

Have you tried looking in the dustbin an restoring from that.
As to won't restore deleted files, roll back restores to an earlier date, so the file should be there.

After reading this thread I've come to the conclusion that flashy and myself are compatible, we're both useless when it comes to computer tech:D

Has it actually gone?
or have you removed the shortcut?

what did you do?

ISTR that on XP you can "win key + R" (run) type "sol.exe" and it will run.
If it does, its still there & you deleted the shortcut.

If not you will need your install CD to replace it.
(or you can just download it and manually install shortcuts to it).
