Temp blonde hair

Asking for some advice. I have short dark hair, and due to a fancy dress which i am going to at the weekend i want to turn it into blonde/white. (But obviously without dying it). If possible anyone any ideas how to do this as i don't really want to wear a wig.

Thanks

White clips? lol. Have thought about white pump polish but don't know if it would wash out fully.

Can you not buy a coloured hairspray in white? I bought one a few years back and went red for the night one halloween, washed out the following day. If I remember right I got it form superdrug.

You can probably buy coloured hairspray online.
Coloured Hair Spray, novelty spray cans , Partyware from Party Delights
Not sure if they have the colour you want but might be a start point.

Haha, tried that and it looked grey, and a yucky grey at that.

Be warned though if you do find and use some, you may be better spraying your hair outside, i never realised how much it had spread around until the kitchen was cleaned the following day

Yep, and you can't snuggle with anyone all night because you'll leave lovely white patches on their shoulder. And don't even think of going anywhere too hot!!!!! :D

Sara .. just wear a wig .. believe me, much less messy. The sprays are OK, but usually smelly and metallic .. have used them many times for stagework. You would have to wash your hair after the event before you go to bed, otherwise, will be everywhere.

I agree with kate - get a wig.

My daughter uses the sprays.

She has red spray all over the inside of her PC, the cooling fan I bought her & the rest of the room.

But they do work, maybe its best to get someone else to do the spraying.

OR get the wig... :D

Thanks for all your advice and suggestions. Got a blonde wig this morning, trouble is it's very frizzy. So will have to try and do something with it before Saturday.

It's an 80s singers theme fancy dress, but was never really into the 80s so that was a problem in itself. But after much googeling i decided to go as Annie Lennox as it wouldn't cost to much. Just the hair and a black tie. But whilst shopping this morning i've decided to go as Dolly Parton (as hubby says i'm always showing my boobs of anyway lol). Got the wig and the outfit. But not really happy with the wig but at least it's a start.

Once again thanks
