We stopped using Ariel as we find Surf small and mighty lasts longer and the Lavender & Oriental Blossom smells really nice as well. It was 1/2 price at Asda in Rawtenstall when we went this afternoon.

I thought Ariel used to make motor bikes.

Might be better to go freesat, a longer pole may damage the chimney, if thats where your aerial is now. Nobody really does TV aerials much under £100 quid and thats cheap if they are in that business, some charge over £150.

Don't know the ins and outs but if you have previously had a good signal it is not always a new aerial you need, they rarely give up unless very old. Sometimes it can be as simple as a bad coaxial connection to the plug, or the wind can move the aerial so that you are not picking up the signal directly. Can be water in the cable, lots of things but first place to start check your connection on the coax plug that goes in to the back of the telly.

Recommend Len Hall of Great Harwood. Though Len has taken a back seat these days, his son has erected new ariels for me and mine at a very competetive rate.

Would totally agree with this although haven't seen him for many years Len is old school when it comes to aerial rigging.
