Coop v Tesco
Just a little tip here, I forgot to get some tissues with my shopping this weekend, and have run out, so Joan nipped over to the Coop for some for me, they had no single boxes of Kleenex only duel packs which cost £4-85p, she thought that was a bit steep so she popped down to Tesco, they too only had duel packs, but the cost was £3-74:eek: £1-11p cheaper, not only that it was a BOGOF offer:D Johns a happy bunny:D:D:D

It is ages since I bought paper hankies. They sound expensive wherever you buy.
Nowt wrong with using gents size cotton hankies. They get washed on the high temp cycle to destroy any germs. |

They're strange sometimes these offers. Noticed the other day in Asda, a 300g jar of Nescafe was £4, whereas the large tin 500g was £9. (summat).
Had something similar on Bacardi last year. |

It surprised me that two store only a couple of hundred yards apart have such big differences in prising £4-85p to £3-74p £1-11p difference on the standard cost without Th BOGOF offer which makes it incredible, you can tell I ain't done my own shopping for quit a while:rolleyes:

Re: Coop v Tesco
I shop online for groceries, but for those who prefer to visit a supermarket, you can 'view before you go' by looking at prices and offers here -
Compare Supermarket Prices | Supermarket Shopping - mySupermarket You can even fill a virtual trolley and see which supermarket is cheapest for your shopping that week. Rest assured that you are not committed to 'checkout' that trolley, and not one penny of your money is spent until you enter card details - and you can back out long before that. |
