Bridesmaid failing

HELP!

I need anyones help...i have the worst bridesmaids. One is my sister and the other my sister in -law to be and so far they both have to be the most hopeless bridesmaids in history. Neither of them help and are taking my wedding seriously which now means i am left to do all the planning on my own.
I am fed up and not sure on how to go about changing the situation.

Any advice is appreciated.

Re: Bridesmaid failing

Bridesmaids shouldn't be expected to help- they never were.
If you can't manage to organise a wedding yourself, you aren't ready to be a wife.

Re: Bridesmaid failing

The other thing you have to bear in mind is :- if you consider them to be such useless bridesmaids, why would you want them to help organise anything........you wouldn't trust them, and if you did and things went wrong, your big day would end in tears.

Organising a wedding isn't that difficult.
Make yourself a list. Work through it systematically. And remember the saying....If you want something doing well....you'd best do it yourself.
Good Luck.

Some bridesmaids might help out because they want to....and also they might just know what they are doing......but it isn't in the remit of a bridesmaid to be required to help out with the organisation of the wedding.

A bridesmaid may have duties on the actual day....helping the bride to get into her gown, looking after younger bridesmaids, looking after the flowers.....but the actual organisation........No. It is usual for the bride and her mother who do this part of the organisation.

I like David's suggestion.

They've to get up early in the morning to pull the wool over your eyes cashy, you could be right could be a precursor for a spammer, just tempting the water:rolleyes:

Re: Bridesmaid failing

If your bridesmaids are your close friends I would expect them to want to help and for the bride to want them to help. If bridesmaids are just family members you feel you should ask to be bridesmaids then the bride probably wont want their help anyway.

When you set up an account, isn't Male the default profile?
It may just be that she hasn't changed the default.......I don't get why a spammer would go to the trouble of a fictitious story.....surely they would not waste any time, and just hit with the spam.

The post was ok, just not the poster. I don't always have time straight away to check new ones out and will leave it until I am on a PC not my phone because its easier. The same poster posted the same question using the same name in several forums. There location was iffy as well so she/he/it is now banned.

No reason to not discuss the subject though :D

If people think its better to just delete it I will do.

Neil....can I ask(purely out of curiousity) .....What exactly constitutes and iffy location?.......if answering compromises you in any way I will understand that you cannot give me a definitive answer.

When we were getting a lot of spam it was mainly from Russia, India, China and a few other places. You have to use a bit of judgement at times and guess at others. A first post introduction really does help us to know people are genuine. Yes we have a lot of members living abroad but when you search

You get a couple of hits on other websites for the exact same post. Looking on one of them I found post from the user with links to a website selling dresses, this site was registered in China with prices in Euros. All a bit iffy

I could be wrong and often am but I don't think so this time.

Just to get back to the question, I suggest you get two of the fattest ugliest girls you're likely to find & give them the job of Bridesmaids. They'll be falling all over themselves to help, let's face it, it's probably the closest they'll ever get to being wed. :D

Yes I know, cruel & unfair. But I bet there's a few of you out there grinning right now after your initial "OMG I can't believe he said that !" Hey as far as I'm concerned PC is a computer. ;)

Dave, if I were best man or an usher at that wedding I'd be rather peed off if the bridesmaids were fat & ugly. Plus, you'll want girls that look good on the photo's.
