Furniture sliders

I have recently bought furniture sliders and explain why -
As old age has arrived I find it more and more exhausting to use a vac cleaner.

I have browsed for domestic cleaning firms but I don't feel that needy yet.

I have 3 Dysons - upright, small cylinder and a hand held.
The hand held is ideal for picking up crumbs as they appear, but dust removal on a large scale needs to be done regularly. The small cylinder has easier to use attachments for getting under heaviest furniture(which is rarely moved) and for hoovering cobwebs up high, but for raising carpet pile and getting dust from the bottom of the carpet pile I find the upright model is best.

Last year I replaced most of my lounge furniture and none of it has castors.
This has made it difficult to move and I get worn out just shifting it, before even starting pushing the upright vac about.

I think I have found a wonderful solution with these furniture sliders.
I have fitted them on my recliner chair and footstool, and on the dining table and chairs.
What a difference - I can move them easily with little effort.
I have energy left to actually do some hoovering (Dysoning) later today - wonderful !

I have 3 types but find the 2 self adhesive types best, and one of those has the option to screw fix if the adhesive pad fails.

They are very reasonably priced - bought on Amazon

Invest in a toy boy, he'll move the furniture & might suck even better than a Dyson!

BIG smiley face.

I bought some square versions of something similar......oh, a lot of years ago.
I think I bought them from the Betterwear Man.
I don't think a toy boy would be much interested in moving the furniture Less....they have much baser instincts......far more trouble than they are worth.
(no I'm not speaking from personal expereince - but from someone else's experience)

Don't knock it if you haven't tried it!

The easy way to fix them is a blob of blutack in the middle of the slider before you use it-surprising how strong the hold is.
