Asda about 10 plastic throwaway razors in a bag as good if not better that some of the fancy ones.
Which will cost quids, with 5 spare blades costing a fortune, and then when you go for some new blades (which don't last long) they have changed the design, or no longer stock them.

Try King of Shaves. Razors and new blades reasonable price and the nearest good shave I've found to Gillette Fusion Powershave. May be a bit hard to find but available on Amazon.
Strangely they get mixed reviews on Amazon but replacement blades get better reviews.
I found a pack of old Bics I must have had for years, thought ideal for holidays, use and throw away so tried one. It was like shaving with a broken bottle. Must have had tough skin, soft beard in those days.

Both Retlaw and Gordon Booth are thick skinned. I'm more delicate - as a lad I used Camay and Imperial Leather - no carbolic for me. I wasn't all that keen on the blocks of soap issued at the baths in St James St.

I share Gordon's opinion on Bics.

Thick skinned, you've a clock like a Rhinocerbuckpig, either use a disc sander or get a cut throat razor & cut your throat, them bic razors at Asda will cope with any thing your ugly mug can grow.

From the days of the famous 'snog on the stairs' circa 1957, I recall that he has bristles like a porcupine.

I had over done time under a sun lamp and was red skinned before he kissed me, and red raw by the time he stopped.
