How to clean a TV screen

My wife has made a mess of our TV screen. How best to totally cleans it of smudges & stains? I'm afraid to use anything abrasive, such as her tongue.

The best stuff is hand sanitiser Mr B.. any brand £1 shop even ...use sparingly on a soft cloth though paper tissue contains abrasive wood fibres. :D

Works on laptops n computer screens too.

I got some stuff from Currys it's called Monster Screen Clean, just spray it on and wipe off. It's also good for glasses. Have you tried car window cleaner. That's not abrasive.Either that or I will send Max round to lick it clean.

soft cloth and propper cleaner that specificaly says its for flat screen tv's if thats what type of tv it is.

also dont do circular motions go left to right until all teh cleaner is absorbed

you can get kits for a few quid that come with a little brush to get the muck from the edge that gets tehre when cleaning as well

same stuff they use for laptops

A delicate touch from a sandblaster can't be any worse than what you have already, (not the screen your missus!).

She claims that spit is what's caused the problem.

Am glad that this simple request has brought out not only solution to the problem ( Screen wipes from Pound Shop in Broadway) but witty comments from a few 'regulars'.
