This Parrot Is No More

If you know someone that has lost a parrot, they can stop looking I'm afraid I saw it on Blackburn Road.

No need to shout, now, let's start off in basic terms I can understand.

1/ What is you tube?

2/ Dead parrot? Are you sure it's about a dead parrot?

3/ Is it a documentary that helps parrot owners recover from the grief of seeing a picture of their parrot, (excuse my ignorance I of course mean love bird), dead and no doubt next on the menu in a B'burn Rd take away?

Sorry for the shouting I humbly apologise. I don't know how to put links on the site. If you go to YouTube and type in the search box "dead parrot sketch" and it should bring it up.

Love that sketch - a true classic! :)
Less: I'm not trying to be a pedant - sorry if I come across that way. I had the privilege of owning a Senegal parrot for 21 years, and my husband used to breed them (largely to help prevent the illegal trade in wild caught birds). It's every bird owner's nightmare to have one fly away, and it's a sad sight to see one feet up in the gutter (pushing up the daisies, so to speak). They are very intelligent, emotional creatures, and after the death of my beloved Igor, (pronounced Eye-gore, after the Marty Feldman character) swore I would never keep another as I've come to believe they're just too intelligent to be kept in cages.

So, Less, did you do the decent thing and check if it was just asleep?

Are we talking the bird's sex, as in "gender", or its sexual preferrences:confused: One can assume, because it appears most parrots are called "Polly" or "Pol", that the bird is, or was, female ... and then the position of the bird: flat on it's back, legs spread ... Of course, one could call in CSI. There may have been fowl play:hidewall:

Watch out for tomorrow's new thread entitled, road kill and a slow cooker, how could we live without them?

;)

Oh, sorry it might be delayed, the badger seems to have woken up, there may be a slight delay because I'll have to run over it for a few more times.
