Are you getting the Benefits that your Entitled

Each year Millions of pounds are not claimed in Benefits!
If you or anyone you know, think that they are'nt getting their full entitlement, then please find out by going to
http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/environment/welfarerights/index.asp

I visit the elderly and disabled and know from personal experience that people can miss out,and the money is better in their pocket than left unclaimed, around the fylde we are having a drive to make people aware that they could be missing out! If anyone lives around the Fylde I've got address's
for local advice but as most of you are in East lancs it's not going to be much use! I tend to bend the ears of O,A,P's about this sort of thing because they can be a stubbern bunch and feel it's scrounging and miss out! :(

This subject was brought up on Working Lunch today. One of the pensioners said that they would rather have less tax to pay than having to claim things back.

This is something I do on a daily basis in my job. Whenever I do a home visit I always check that people are on the right benefits and you'd be amazed how many aren't claiming what they are entitled to...especially the elderly
