Blackpool trip

Some time back Mez posted a photograph taken for the Pioneer WMC (Church) annual outing to Blackpool, some time in the early 50s.

Does anyone remember going? - any memories of those days when it seemed the sun always shone (I'm sure it didn't!) and we got a goody bag to go with?

think most wmc used to run trips for the kids i used to go on one with sydney st, though we went to southport or new brighton= when it was open lol
