THERE'S A VOICE,

DOWN THE ROAD,
IS WHERE I'LL ALWAYS BE.
EVERY STOP I MAKE,
I'LL MAKE A NEW FRIEND.
CAN'T STAY FOR LONG, JUST TURN AROUND AND I'M GONE AGAIN.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANNA SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON

DOWN THIS ROAD, THAT NEVER SEEMS TO END,
WHERE NEW ADVENTURE, LIES JUST AROUND THE BEND

SO IF YOU WANNA JOIN ME FOR A WHILE,
JUST GRAB YOUR HAT, COME TRAVEL LIGHT,
THAT'S HOBO STYLE.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANT TO SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, THE WHOLE WORLD IS MY HOME

Instrumental Bridge

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANT TO SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON.

THERE'S A WORLD, THAT'S WAITING TO UNFOLD,
A BRAND NEW TALE, NO ONE HAS EVER TOLD,
WE'VE JOURNEY'D FAR BUT, YOU KNOW IT WON'T BE LONG,
WE'RE ALMOST THERE AND WE'VE PAID OUR FARE, WITH THE HOBO SONG.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANT TO SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON.

SO IF YOU WANNA JOIN ME FOR A WHILE,
JUST GRAB YOUR HAT, COME TRAVEL LIGHT,
THAT'S HOBO STYLE.

MAYBE TOMORROW I'LL FIND WHAT I CALL HOME,
UNTIL TOMORROW, YOU KNOW I'M FREE TO ROAM.

It was a pretty dreadful programme, wasn't it, by today's standards? I've got to admit, though, at the age of 10 I thought H L was wonderful. :p

I remember Robin Hood very well, with Richard Green and Patricia Driscoll. Little John was Scottish and I could never work out what he was doing in Sherwood Forest. I didn't watch Ivanhoe much, Roger Moore, wasn't it?, and soon graduated to Six Five Special, with Don Lang and his Frantic Five, and then Oh Boy! I was madly in love with Joe from The Dallas Boys when I was 14. :D

ugh! I couldn't stand Bonnie Lang-ford. Her voice grated on my nerves. Much preferred Lena Zavaroni.

What about Fireball XL5 with Brains and Lady Penelope. They all seemed to move funny and their mouths didn't seem to work properly.
