Jingles
For the older members. :D
I was talking to my daughter about the advertising jingles that used to be on ITV in the late 50s, all with catchy tunes, and I was surprised how many I remembered very well. Here's a few. Esso: O-o-o-h the Esso sign means happy motoring and Boom boom boom boom, Esso Blue. Murray Mints: Too-good-to-hurry mints Magic Margarine: Try a little bread and Magic Pepsodent toothpaste: You'll wonder where the yellow went MacLean's toothpaste: Did you MacLean your teeth today? Did you? I did. Hoover: Beats as it sweeps as it cleans Typhoo Tea: Better flavour, money saver, T-y-y-y-phoo! Can you add to the list? |
Re: Jingles

Re: Jingles
Yes, I remember those - but they weren't jingles. It's the ones with tunes that everyone recognised and everyone sang that I'm after. There were dozens of them.
