Stop being a lazy arse, and type it out!:D

It's a pity the letters page isn't on the Observer website, as usually it's the best bit.

Still, at least you're spared the bonny baby/pretty pussy/hot honey/glasses wearer of the year photographs.

There's always a positive side.:D

Yeh, shame not on their website, and haven't got a scanner Alan ..sure someone on here has one who gets the Observer. Did start to type it for you, but hit the wrong button (must cut me nails) and went into the re-cycling bin or summat ..:D

He did mention John Taylor at Knowlmere Street .. know he did run dance classes, but I only remember Cliff.

Was supposed to be at the Rock 'n Roll evening myself tonight which Eddie Pearson runs, but events overtook me ..sorry Mez... :o

Cheers for that, Mick, very interesting. I would dispute that Bill Haley's "Shake Rattle & Roll" was the birth of rock 'n' roll, but I suppose that's another argument all together.

I didn't smoke at school.

It wasn't until I was living in London that I started to smoke, mainly to mask the stench of those jellied eels cockney types.
