any one see
Did anyone see the letter In todays Acc Obs "The History of Rock", from Eddie Pearson about the Rock and Roll years in Accy, sure brought back a lot of memories for me and I'm sure for a lot of others on here who grew up in that era

It's a pity the letters page isn't on the Observer website, as usually it's the best bit. Still, at least you're spared the bonny baby/pretty pussy/hot honey/glasses wearer of the year photographs. There's always a positive side.:D |

He did mention John Taylor at Knowlmere Street .. know he did run dance classes, but I only remember Cliff. Was supposed to be at the Rock 'n Roll evening myself tonight which Eddie Pearson runs, but events overtook me ..sorry Mez... :o |

Thanks for trying, Katex, tried Observer site but its not on there, unless Im missing something. Jaysay's comment is something Mr C would say, had to laugh, I think Tony Abbot used to spin the discs up the Arcs when I went up there. Would like to see that photo.

Re: any one see
Cheers for that, Mick, very interesting. I would dispute that Bill Haley's "Shake Rattle & Roll" was the birth of rock 'n' roll, but I suppose that's another argument all together.

Re: any one see
My aunt left the High School that year, though I doubt she'd be on the photograph, as she was probably somewhere having a fag.:D
