I thought that the music shop next to Catlow's was Wallace's, and wasn't there a TV & Record shop at the junction of Little Blackburn Rd and Abbey St - about where the Canine entrance is now - Abbey TV(?), something like that - know my Dad got our first TV from there in 1954

One not coming up seems to be the Abbey Record Bar-around in the mid to late 70s when I was buying records by the sackful. It was on Abbey Street, just as you walked around from the top of Little Blackburn Road-very narrow, lots of 2nd hand stuff. Got the Magical Mystery Tour EP there.
