Being in my mid 30's it seems strange to see fags advertised. I notice that they were a kind of fashion accessory, like the cool bloke in the Marlboro adverts. I remember dismissing the idea of not smoking in pubs,"it'll never work" i said......Smoking is certainly on the decline, and in 20 years you will be seeing the last generation of smokers i my opinion.

There was a brand with a small packet attached which said,Four for your friends, anyone remember them? I cant remember the brand.

Was a lady of the night who lived Fountain St way used to do that, perhaps its her yeh remember?:D P.S. she also had her specs wi gold chains attached,if that helps yer memory. pmsl

Anybody remember other brands which were on the market in those days
