I have been given 1 of these ?
I have not seen them before i think Poodle has 1 in his m/c
2 questions
1) what is the middle dail for (vu)
2) how do i wire it up ?
on the vu dail is a jack plug on the other end is a plate that goes in a slot at the back of the pc and has 2 jack ports IN/OUT ?

VU is to do with measuring audio signal strength... I dont know what this has to do with the pc :p

I'm not 100% sure how to wire one up as i've never worked one of those things before so i'll not comment on #2 :p

As has been said, VU is Audio level, I would guess you would be looking for a line out of teh soundcard? However, I reckon its BLING CITY!

Agreed, no need for that on a PC, the fan control can be useful if its getting a little noisy, you can turn it down and just max it when your PC is working hard. I always have a dual temp guage in my cases so I can keep an eye the case and hard drive temp

Well KSH I nearly wet myself laughing when I clicked on your instructions link I thought you were having a laugh when this japenese came up until I realised they actually were the instructions and further along were the english details!!!
