When you say you've gone with them for landline do you mean you pay your line rental to them or to BT. If teh former you will find it difficult to get another ISP to supply BB to you. If you still pay BT for line rental but have a dialling code box to redirect your calls from BT through Onetel then there are better ISPs for BB.

As for your 14 minute call to Oz, how would 14 PENCE sound? At that price you could natter for over 2 hours for teh same money.

I use these guys to call Manilla on a daily basis and they are very reliable. You occasionally get a sligh echo on the line so I just redial and its normally fine. There is no sign up or prepayment just dial and go the costs are charged to your normal BT bill.

What about Skype for overseas calls? I thought that was meant to be quite cheap, especially if its pc to pc

just got skpe myself as i will be calling Oz quite alot in the next year only really got it because we bought the headphones and we have got 2 hours of free calls from them so thought it would be worth it! So can i get call to an Oz mobile for free???

im on skype too ........ my son & his girfriend went to prauge the other week .......i rang them on their moby on skype but i paid 10 euro's for the priviledge & am still using it, so im not sure bout the call to the moby in australia .....but i do believe its a free service from skype .......computer to computer... try it & see what happens.
