No Entry.

just tried to go in chat room it won't let me theres a box in top left corner of a blank screen, i mentioned the prob in another tread i put in the wrong place,its driving me nuts i can't acess e-mail,arcade games@now chat ive obviously got problems and honestly no bloody idea,:) anybody out there? please help.:confused:

Any chance of posting a picture of this 'box' Pressing ALT- Printscreen will take a snapshot of your desktop. paste it into whatever image editing software you use and crop it down to teh box. Then post it up here, catch me on MSN or pmail me

i'm on internet explorer granny- ta anyway but that seems to be the problem,not that i have a clue but micks checked it out @entwis been helping with advice so hopefully we will get there in the end.:)

Its something i have not come accross before
we loaded opera and it worked for a while and let him in the chat room but now its just a blank screen again also with XP he cant do a restore as that is blank also

Cashy is it any particular browser thats causing the trouble. I have a simular issue here at with netscape but no problems at home. Can see micks point with opera the latest version isnt very stable. Try mozzila is the best I can offer as my home browser is BTYahoo and gives me no problems.

Unfortunately mate it sounds like you will be re-installing Windows. If there is stuff on there that you need we can save it first. Let me know if you want to do this.

The only problem with re-installing xp is you need a disc cahman has not got a xp disc
i have xp on disc but not sure if its like 98 where you can put any version on and it will take it xp is funny that way
