Summink has just gone on tonight...Go slows,Blank screens, ect

I told peeps some sh!t got into me in Nam..Cheltnam i explained HaHa!

Any help will be greatfully accepted.:confused:

Afraid I have same prob. Mega slow loading pages, in fact it's took me 5 mins just to get to here!!!! Other members that I am speaking to on msn seem to be having no probs. Plus I have no probs with other websites... so it's all very weird :confused: :confused: :confused:

Looking at both of your IP addresses you share the same ISP - the server is running fine and there are no connectivity problems at the datacentre, it looks like a problem with your isp and connections to where our server is.

I am currently on AW from work so it is another ISP. Am praying that it will be ok when I get home tonight. I'm presuming that you also use tiscali broadband spud, I sent them an e-mail last night with the problem and hopefully they will look into it very soon or even better it corrects itself.

thanks for looking into this roy and at least I could go to tiscali with some kind of explanation.

It is tiscali broadband and it's still mega slow!:mad:

are all sites slow or just certain ones? if its all sites, it could be DNS thats buggered.

You can override DNS if you know IP addresses of sites. e.g. http://216.239.39.99 is one of googles ip address's

See if that comes up any quicker than hitting google.com

If it does you could try temporarily using someone other than Tiscalis dns

pipex is 158.43.240.3 for example, catch me on MSN ([email protected]) if you want info on how to make teh change

Have to say that tiscali have been on the ball and have received an e-mail off them today to say they have located the problem. accy web have updated their DNS address but it has not updated on the tiscali DNS servers. (does this sound right roy??)

Now they are aware they are looking ot resolve the problem. But have also given me steps to help in the meantime which have worked :)

So spud if you are still having probs when you read this. pm me your e-mail address and I will forward the e-mail to you.

Enti.. The problem only seemed to be with accy web and that must have been cos of Roy's update as I did try at least a dozen other sites with no probs.

All in all though it was a pain last night, it's great how Roy and Tiscali responded to the problem so quickly :D :D :D
