new laptop
 

right my sis has just bought a new laptop and is having mega probs she has norton on and i might be wrong but my guess is that its this thats causing the prob.although she is still connected to net after about half hor online it appears to slow right down and says its dissconnected although she isnt.. she just cant get web pages to display please can anyone advise me so i can pass on info..thanks

Could be any number of things, make suer firewalls etc are installed, enabled and configured properly, do a full up to date virus scan and spyware/malware scan. Then tell us how you got on
