hi i have broadband however when i recive a phonecall on my landline the broadband discontects it is a real pain the the bum help !

Have u got a micr filter attached to you phone line? & do u have an extention?

Is it longer than 10m from the socket & have u put a micro filter on which plugs yer phone & your broadband cable to??

Yes u need it thats why u are cut off when landline goes, plug your filter that came with your modem/router into the extention & plug the phone & the pc bb connection into their slots on the filter & that should sort your prob out:D

the phone is downstairs wif the micro filter currently, the extension is only for the internet :S

Mmmm thats the problem cos it doesn't work well that way, do u have a wired phone or a cordless one??? Mines on an extention but i've plugged my micro filter at the end of the extention & plugged everything else to there & works well i can call out or answer & still use my BB perfectly, maybe you need to refer to your BB modem manual which explains the various ways to fit a micro filter

You need filters on all connections, be them phone or internet. ADSL connections neeed to be properly terminated and microfilters perform this function.
