Is anyone else getting viruses through the mail ? - I have been bombarded with them all day!

Not sure what the virus is but have located the person sending it. (I don't have email virus scanning on as I like to know whats going on). Looks like someone wants to have a little fun!

Only recieve email as text (ASCII) and you will never get a virus by email. Worked for me for the 12 years or so and will continue to do so :)

Had a few viruses sent about a month ago, they came through to my e mail address even though I was not on this fellas mailing list. I have norton antivirus, so it just quarantined all the messages the virus was attached to and I deleted them. I replied to the sender, thanking him for sharing the viruses with me and the major toy companies that were on the mailing list, with whom he was trying to do buisness. Haven't received any more since. ;D

Also have Norton AntiVirus and must admit this is one of the best products on the line.Viruses are also spread along with the MSN Messenger.For anybody sufferring from pop ups this can also be prevented.However on doing this you willö not be able to use MSN Messenger anymore.

Had a virus through either messenger or pop ups last week, Blaster worm, it came through before Norton detected it. spent an hour the other night downloading a patch for it then a programme to delete it, which has now been done sucessfully, and I haven't lost any important data. It probably would have taken a lot less time to do, but I am a novice on the computer and didn't understand the instructions :-[
Basically just hit keys and prayed :-[
