Tec Zone Chapter1
Found a good second hand 17" Compaq monitor today for £45, with guarantee. The shop on Warner St, PC TecZone, next to the the games place.
Check out their website. they run a non - profit organisation, where for a small yearly donation, you get all the email support you need, free software, competitions and discounts. The site is ideal for beginners. They are also starting PC & internet courses at the shop soon. I think the whole thing's a brill idea. The guy that runs it is local, give him a look. Make enquiries via the website or at 35, Warner St. http://www.tec-zone.co.uk |

If it was free I'd be interested but a tenner is best spent on a couple of computer mags. Anyway, nice idea, maybe I'll start charging £5 a year for this site, you'll only have to donate it so I know your a serious Accrington person! ;) |
Re: Monitors
Yes been there bought a USB2 card for £20 when i went on broadband
|
Re: Monitors
Just another quick point about this "tec-zone" thing. The guy who runs it says hes called Oscar, he also has released some sound software available from the above mentioned site. When you go to download it, it says, and i quote the website -
Quote:
Wake up and smell the coffee! Stick with micks computer help line, it's free and it's genuine! |
Re: Monitors
Think Mick probably knows the guy that runs it, from the market ???
|
Re: Monitors
Ive seen him but never spoken to him only when i bought the USB2card
seems ok but as for the downloads i dont know. if anyone wants a big file downloading i will be more than happy to help only takes seconds to download with broadband |
Re: Monitors
just had a look at the site.
I think the bloke in the pic is a guy called Oscar. and yes i do know him he has been ok with me. but if they will not support there software then i would think again :-/ |
Re: Monitors
Maybe I've interpretted this wrongly.
Might be worth getting him on the forum to give us some more in depth info into what it is he's doing??? Then people could make informed decisions. After all if it's not genuine, they deserve to know, don't you think? Sort it out Mick!!! ;D ;D ;D |
Re: Monitors
i will have a word with him on monday :D
|
Re: Monitors
