Search engine listings

Anybody answer a query? I have just seen the search engine listing for my latest site.
It says "your browser does not support frames, please click here" I've seen this many times for other sites and not thought about it. Why does it say this when my site doesn't have frames(apart from an I-frame on one page) and I certainly haven't got a "click here" message. Is this something to do with netscape?

Nothing to do with netscape.. When your site got lised it had frames and I am betting it still does with cloaked redirection..

Can only answer your question correctly if you tell us the address to your page

http://www.springhill.2ya.com

It's a shortcut url. The original was http://www12.brinkster.com/springhill/index.htm

Thanks for that! Do you think the idea of the site is a good one?
Had quite a few hits and a couple of folk willing to supply photos, and it's only been up a couple of weeks.
the webmaster at Hyndburn Council though it was a brill idea and actually listed it as a Community Website instead of in the A-Z.

So what do you think the  problem is? Is that all I'm ever going to get in a search engine listing?

Your site is in a frame.. Exactly as I said..its using cloaked redirection

All search engines will see is the source for frames.

Lose the redirection. For 10 quid a year you can have a proper domain and not require redirection..

Thanks for the info.
Not in a position at the mo financially to be paying out for domain names even though it is very cheap. I already have 4 sites on the go already and another one coming up.

I made the mistake with Springhill of getting the short cut url before submitting the site to the search engines, and using that one, which I didn't do before. I've now resubmitted it using the original url.

Thanks again.

Anybody explain the user ratings and Boo/applaud thing? I'm new to this forum lark!
