AOHELL went down last night - never had so much bad customer service ask Spug what i was like - even he says i was in a bad mood.:mad::mad::mad:

If you had problems last night/this morning with AOHELL it was due to maintenance.

Complaint letter will be written when i've calmed down. :D

I ventured into AOL very early in my computer experience because they were offering a few months free - I got out after 2 weeks because I found that the Mickey Mouse way of displaying pages really irritated me.:(

From my Experiance with them on Phone Bills & CHARGES I would stay well clear myself.

oh thats bad mr d but ive been with them on phone now for yr and 1/2 and internet about 6 months and touch wood all seems well im happy with the service and charges .. i pay 1 set amount each month and dont have to worry about call charges etc . the only thing i dont do is ring mobiles from my landline .. although i think its all trial and error on most isps and always will be because its such a competetive market ..

I heard that Spugg sought voluntary deportation as a result of been detained in a sexual hell hole at the back end of Rising bridge. I heard that he had retracted all statements made before crossing the boarder as they where made under duress. :D

Thanks to those useless nitwits (being polite) at AOL my convo was dropped in the middle.:mad::mad::mad: I had a better idea at what was happening than them and i dont work in a support centre. Could have shot em!!!!! They need to go back to school and start again!!!!!!!

Just goes to show how much chaos that can be rought by IP's and the fact that they dont seem to care. The attitude seems to be that any issue resides with the customer and not with them. I tried to find a link for issues and outages when it went belly up but found non. I can find mine with BT with ease and proberly so do others but why it allegedly took them so long at the support centre to find out says to me they didnt want to admit it as their advisors were laying the blame else where.

Wrote the complaint letter - it will be in the post tomorrow.

Polite and straight to the point. Even saying that its bad manners to put the phone down on someone not just bad customer service.

I was with AOL (AOHELL) years ago. They charged me money I didn't owe them, which I didn't pay. Then they took the money from my account without my consent, by the time I'd cancelled the Direct Debit they'd already took the money. They basically took it as soon as it was put into the account, leaving me a few bob to live off that week. :mad:

They are devils. Okay maybe a bit far, maybe not. I'm with NTL now (or Virgin media since the takeover). They're okay, haven't had any troubles in several years, touch wood. You can definitely get better deals from other ISPs though.

Give em hell ;)

I forgot to post what reply i got back!!! I got a phone call from one of the bosses down there. Apologising big style for the idiots i spoke to. He agreed that i was treated unfairly and was given 3 months free broadband service. He also said that i wouldnt be speaking to them again!!!
