Downloading email documents in HTML
Have recently changed service providers from AOL To TalkTalk, effectively crossing the fence, or so I thought. While I could easily download documents sent in HTML on AOL I now find on TT they are scrambled or in something similar to Serbo Croat, cant decipher that language either.
Can anyone help? |
Re: Downloading email documents in HTML
Bit of info required
What email client (Outlook express? Windows Mail as its called in Vista) when you say scrambled is it showing teh html markup language or is it genuinely garbage? HTML is BAD anyway, plain text is the way to safety and spamless mail |
Re: Downloading email documents in HTML
Thanks for reply Ian, yes it is in HTML markup but looks like gobbledegook. Unfortunately my HO send all their info to me in HTML along with all other reps so dont really have any option. Can't understand why I have only gone from one side of aol to the other & its goofed up?

Re: Downloading email documents in HTML
Firstly I'd question the sanity/security of a company sending work related emails to a personal account. Its not something I would recommend at all.
You didn't say what email client your using? |
