Ahhh Getting Anoyed Now!!!
 

Right , i had to reformat my computer so adding all my programmes back on , added most of them and then i got to adding msn messenger again , so i go on the website , click download and it downloads the windows live installer , i open that not knowing what it is and it says its downloading msn messenger through that, so im like ok fine , and then it keeps on coming up that it cant download msn , try again later , its really bugging me , why cant i just download msn straight through , why do i have to do it through a windows live installer!! Ive tried downloading the older version of msn , not the live one and everytime i try to sign up it says ive got to update to the new one , but i cant download the flaming new one!!! :mad::mad: If anyone can actually understand this rubbish explanation then please post an answer :)

flippin heck, give us chance, some of us work during the day you know!

If you aren't bothered about all the bells and whistles of Live then why not use a client like GAIM, it handles multiple accounts(MSN, Yahoo, JAbber, ICQ, AOL etc) all in the one window.

Windows want to use teh live installer as I believe it ties in with teh genuine advantage check to make sure you have alegit copy of windows, if you haven't then it could be teh reason you aren't getting teh download. If it is then make sure your firewall has been set to allow the Live installer access to the net.

You don't say what the actual error message is ( its critical we know EXACTLY what it says in order to help, guesstimates just don't help us)

Could this not be because messenger live server had problems and the rest where down the other day ? try again things are all working again

Tried again , again , again , downloaded trillian, not as good but it will go for the minute.

The joys of windows, someone on here was saying how good xp was the other day and that there was no need to change operating systems ;)

windows is crap, going to enjoy buying the basic £100 laptop for college run with linux.

when you go in MSN.com to download it , it takes you to the place where just click download but it asks you for your country. Dont choose united kingdom , choose united states and it works :)
