speaker hell
Hi
I have bought some new pc speakers today and have plugged them in but nowts happening, I have had a nosy on their website and it says they dont need drivers; how do I get my computer to recognise them .... please remember I am daft with these things and need it all spelling out ta linds |

It would help if you described what you have done and what the speakers are.
Do they plug into the 3.5mm headphone type connector on your PC? Do they need batteries or plug into the mains? |

Sorry Neil ,they are Labtec, they plug in the mains and they plug in the green socket at back of pc, I have just used Windows troubleshooter and its not done anything. i have out my old speakers back on and they are working still but nowt from the new ones....

ummm I had the power on and volume up but think it's a dodgy connection, when I picked the speaker up to give it a shake the damn thing kicked into life and scared me to death !:o
