Sound Card / Motherboard Problem

I've had my computer for some time but not had any problems until recently.

Whenever I view a site with in-built sound (Wav file playing in the background), my computer shuts down all the time.

It's also done this when i'm installing a program. It doesn't do this all the time though.

I'm runnning a Pentium 1.2ghz with 312 mb sd ram. The sound card is built in (Bad thing) and is a VIA AC'97

Anyone any ideas?

try updating your drivers
or if that fails get a new sound card

I've solved this problem now with the help of Demo (Well he solved it!). Maybe installing the actual motherboard drivers helps too!!!
