Please can someone give me a link so I can download the free edition of avg?
I used one and got sent to cnet download.com and I got a damn virus.

im really pulling my hair out here im sure i never had this prob before.. :(:mad:

thanks forceten. that was the site that gave me the virus .. will have another go. thought maybe i was being linked to the wrong site

It had a green tick next to it from my avg, which means that it is ok :confused:

You don't already have a virus on your computer do you?

The link David gave you is the site i always use they have a mag you can buy computeractive (W.H.Smiths) its an excellent mag and i have never had a virus off there site.
there is also a forum for problems and competitions news,advice and workshops etc.

Yes I used it Mick . somehow download.com dosent like me. But managed to use this one without hassle. thanks x
