Crazy Pc - Angry Owner
 

Someone help me, my computer is FULL of BUGs... This is the list:

• When I click to show the items in groups it only works for some minutes!!!
• The same thing happens to the Explorer Status Bar, it keeps disappearing!!

And when I press Crtl + Alt + Del to see the processes, these new guys were there:

• EKJSZIK.exe - In the regedit: zwalze C:\WINXP\System 32\ekjszik.exe
• ALCHEM.exe (I heard that it's a virus... =O)

What is happening?!?!

ALCHEM.exe is a "browser helper" which sends your pc to various sites for downloads, usually adverts.

Are you happy about editing the registry? if so do the following

PS. Do a back up of the registry 1st


Click Start, and then click Run. (The Run dialog box appears.)
Type regedit

Then click OK. (The Registry Editor opens.)



Navigate to the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run


In the right pane, delete the value that refers to the file detected as Adware.ClickAlchemy.

For example:

"Alchem"="C:\Windows\System\Alchem.exe"


Exit the Registry Editor



cant help you with the EKJSZIK.exe problem

Download free winpatrol and spybot, run both remove and then restart your machine and keep both running when you surf it will imform you when anything trys to download to you.

Dont screw with your registry if you dont know what your doing you could delete some stuff you need to keep your machine running. Good Luck.
