Royboy have run adaware as I did the other night when it was like this but to no avail im afraid.
The prob is only with accyweb for some reason. :confused:

Just ran a SpyBot Search and Destroy scan - it found nothing - still slow.
If it turns out to be the server 'backing up' can it not be timed to happen between 3am - 5am when there is usually no-one on here?

No problem. I'll keep looking into it, if it happens again tomorrow please can you do a traceroute as this could potentially help. Or It may be nothing to do with it, but at least we can eliminate.

Yes Margaret, if that is the case we can change it. However as some of us are not experiencing the problem, at first glance it looks like it may be something else.

I gave up on here last night it drove me up the wall . seems to be around the same time though.

May I just ask why K.S.H.'s post was deleted that illustrated the 'traceroute' (or whatever) he was asked to do ?

Is it full of secret information ? .... :D

Well it contained information, the address of his pc that could be used by a hacker to specifically target K.S.H. Unlikely (and tough as linux is used!) as it is I guess its safer if it remains private.

Anyway I have it, and hopefully I can get another one during while the problems are happening which should give us some clues!
