help

Need advice on this ..and how do i go about it.

A couple of weeks ago i made a hotmail account for my brother on my computer seeing as he didnt have an email address and ive still got his password etc and have been checking his account as we are waiting for an email. Have just opened his hotmail addy and theres an email there waiting for him from facebook. My brother doesnt have the internet at home and hasnt the foggiest about facebook. The email is saying to confirm his account on facebook .. saying he'd joined on 11th august 2008 ... As my brother doesnt have the internet at home plus on top of that the hotmail address wasnt even in existence till 2 weeks ago .. it cant be him. So what do i do.

Re: help

never heard of that happening ...I wouldn't take much notice of it but of course don't reply to it.. got to say I find Hotmail seems to be very prone to spam and stuff.
I'd just delete it myself but if it persists then I'd contact Facebook to get it sorted.

Re: help

try logging into facebook with the email address and click forgot password and it will send you a new password to the email address

reset the password and take over the account on facebook and close it down or deactivate it which i think s the best you can do in the options without contacting their customer support to physicaly remove it for good

Re: help

this is the email address where its come from [email protected]

the email is to actually confirm the account on facebook ... so it wont have registered on facebook will it?

Re: help

just ignore it. If not confirmed the account will most likely just disappear in time
