... or windows live messenger .. anyone else having problems with it ..

Having tried to sign in .. it threw up error message 80048831 .. tried to sign into hotmail .. got this:

I just signed in mine to see, and it's working fine for me hun..... :confused: xx

have restarted the computer .. and it still not working .. any ideas ..

have noticed .. when i sign in it changes my password to a shorter one but i havent changed my password since beginning of march ..

also can sign into my alternate name . the one i opened couple of weeks ago ..

try a different client such as Pidgin to see if its your MSN client or your account

spugs has tried signing into mine .. and he cant get in either hes on bt .. i gave him my password ... and hes getting the same message as me.

the problem might be that its msn.com on the end of it .. but ive always had that ..

have tried going in from msn.co.uk and it says windows live not available .. seems like its a msn/microsoft problem ..

get a second email addy becase usually when one is mucking about for some odd reason the other will work

I had this a few weeks ago, changed my password and its been ok since, cant remember how i got to change the password though :p

mines working but showing me updates for people i know have blocked me....
