Accessing USA CMT website
 

Hi computer gurus of Accrington!

I need help................I am trying to view music videos on www.cmt.com however it says that "this video is not availiable in your country", please could anyone tell me if there is a SIMPLE workaround for this problem, I am desperately looking to find new material for my band, I dont wish to 'rip' either vid or audio just wanna listen and choose some new songs!!

no idea about tech stuff pete, but some great stuff on you tube, depending what yer lookin for.:)

You're right Cashy, however every other band is using youtube at the mo so they are all playing the same stuff, Im looking for the more obscure up todate album tracks so we can be a little more 'cutting edge'...........maybe give us a bit of a 'wow' factor lol, if ya get my drift :)

doesn't seem to be any restriction on it here in the US

Is there any way I can easily get my PC to think Im in the USA as its got to be the fact that Im using a UK IP address..................Ian? :)

You can try searching for a anonymous proxy server on google and choose an american based server that might get you round it

That is the way to get round it... you will then have to type in the proxy server IP into your LAN connection.. in IE it's... tools/internet options/connections/ LAN settings

just a suggestion have you checkd out whats available on the international radio stations on "windows media player" under the country music genre

Cheers SJ link works and just downloaded loads of radio station links, the band are about to get a shed load of work to do lol.
