Keyboard tips for dummies

Some people use big bold fonts when posting and it really is hard to take them seriously when they appear to be shouting.
Tip of the week:
This information applies to Windows Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Internet Explorer 8.
If you have a mouse with a wheel, hold down the CTRL key, and then scroll the wheel to zoom in or out as big or small as you like.
If you only have a steam powered mouse without a wheel, from the keyboard you can increase or decrease the zoom value in 10% increments. To zoom in, press CTRL+PLUS SIGN (+). To zoom out, press CTRL+MINUS SIGN (-). To restore the zoom to 100%, press CTRL+0.
This way and maybe if you are optically challenged you can have a big readable message on your screen but when you post it appears sane and well balanced. Arial 10pt does for me but I see Calibri is very much in vogue these days.
Yes I know not everyone has IE7 or 8 so I have made arrangements for Seth at Samspace, 39 Whalley Road (opp the Broadway public house) to install it on the computers of first 4 members of the Accrington Web who call in and put the bill on my account.

I use bold for emphasis.......I was always told that when using the internet, using capital letters equated to shouting......and some of us won't go near IE7 or IE anything preferring to use some other internet browser.(Firefox for me)

I see he's still attempting to flame, seems a bit of a coward though, he starts a thread gets a scathing then becomes too frightened to give a reply, so moves to a different part of the site.
I hope the mods will either move this thread to trash or else to anything goes, it isn't of much use as a technical tip.

Anyway, in the other thread about Venting One's Spleen, he hasbroken his own rules, or so it seems, by putting points he obviously want to emphasise in bold letters.

I really think that post no 1 in this thread is the most arrogant post I have ever come across on Accyweb.

Absolutely right, the use of bold is emphasis, in his case emphasis on him being a pathetic idiot.

Oh, and this:-

Is screaming hysterically!
