MS Office - Help

We have only got MS 2010 Office Starter on our laptops.

I have used MS Office 2007 since then - only for Word, now I can't find my CD so cannot load it onto the LTs - no doubt got lost during our moves. Lots of historical documentation that I can't open without going through the trouble of loading 2010 Starter for every document.

Can anyone help please - will be happy to buy a copy, whatever.

I've just gone back to word after using libreoffice for ages. Libreoffice shares its roots with openoffice.

For some reason, it wasn't indexing properly in Windows 7 - even after rebuilding the index, I couldn't search for documents based on keywords.
