Just got Skype........need advice please!
 

Hi there, I need some advice ref Skype............

I am using the mic which is incorporated into my usb web cam however the latency/dropout etc are awful. My soundcard is a professional 8 in 10 out EDIROL DA-2496, but I would have thought that the usb cam would bypass that and just use the onboard windows sound chip....Any help to sole this problem would be mucho appreciated!!

Use mic and earphones. best way for skype. do not use built in mic or pc speakers.
