I would have liked to put this thread in "general" so that the majority of accywebbers could see it and choose but I KNOW it will be moved, - - so here it is:

I have a download called TVU Player that shows a variety of TV programs just a few seconds after broadcast.

The quality is mostly brilliant and providing you are on broadband, must allow just a few seconds for buffering and for the picture to settle down. Many of the programs are Japanese (dead funny) and European, but there is ABC News, and four CNN Programs. (You may have to follow a link to get Audio, but even I managed that! :p )

It's good to HEAR CNN in the background as I go on the Accyweb, especially in the present climate with the troubles in the Middle East, and if I hear anything that interests me, a simple click to maximise to watch the news!:D

Is there only news , can you not download something to get other tv channels that are not news? :S

you could try tvkoo or tvants to start you off, but its very hit and miss that you find something worth watching :)

It has disney and cartoon channels for children, What I particularly like is that all the programs seem to be suitable for kids, I haven't yet come across "adult" viewing only programs.
