Laptop Disc Drive Wont Work ?

HELP!! BEEN WORKING FINE BURNT A DISC OFF LAST NIGHY NO PROBLEMS SINCE THEN MY DRIVE DOESNT WORK.PUT ANY TYPE OFF DISC IN AND IT IS IF THERE IS NO DISC IN. MY LAP TOP IS AN ADVENT 7105 NOT 12 MONTHS OLD YET.I TRIED UNINSTALLING DRIVER AND RE BOOTED COMPUTER WHICH PUT DRIVER BACK ON BUT STILL NOTHING ANY ONE NO ANYTHING ELSE I CAN TRY?:confused: :( :mad:

You are talking about the CD/DVD drive here?

What types of discs have you tried? try putting a pre recorded CD in and see if that works. If it doesn't it suggests the hardware has borked.

tried all cd dvd tries to read can here it spinning then stops look in my computer and no disk there
