Wireless surfin without encryption...
 

ok i've got a belkin modem/router and a dlink adapter

what i wanna do is limit only my PC to connect to the wireless net but i dont want to use encryption as i was having too much probs with it

i also have my 360 connected to it so... but thats via the ethernet cable...

so is there any way i can channel it so only my pc can connect to it and no other pc?

i think my neighbour sometimes connects to it... hence...

Yes there is.
You need to read the instruction book part on limiting access by MAC address. Then you can set it to only allow the MAC address of your PC to connect to it and no others. Make sure you only do it on the wireless connection or your xbox won't connect.
I can't explain exactly as I don't have a belkin to refer too. It should be fairly easy to do if the book is half decent.

Do start-run
cmd
in teh MS dos box that appers type

ipconfig /all

it will list teh MAC address in teh output
