anyone got an ipod with docking station
 

I have recently bought an ipod docking station for my ipod but I don't think its working I was wondering if anybody has an ipod and would help me out by testing this docker I have.

Thanks for the reply Ian I got the dock working but its the remote that either needs new battery or doesn't work. I went to asda last night to get one but they don't sell them. Its round and about the size of an half penny so I will try and find one today.

At the moment I have the ipod and dock hooked up to an amp and some speakers and this makes a really cool hi-fi, wondered if anybody else does this?

With a 30gb ipod you can get around 8,000 songs on it and play it on shuffle you have a modern day juke box.

re the battery, you need to know what teh number is (e.g. CR2025, 2032 etc. )

I use mine in a couple of ways, through the hifi directly, in my podgear car dock for playing through the car hifi etc.

I found a good site for docking station. Go through once when you have leisure time.

I have mine connected in the same way. I think it gives an amazing quality of sound. Much better than I expected.

I also have a PODGear in car dock which is superb as well.

I find that mp3s at 128 encoding do lack depth but 192 and above are ok.

I have a Bose Sound dock.......and its rockin`, the sound quality is what you come to expect from Bose.
