Can anyone fix a telly ?
 
ours went pssst...then dead.. its too big to take to a shop... anyone fix tellies by house calls or know of anyone?

Have you tried the simple possible solution? It could be a fuse.

I'm only saying that because I thought I had a major disaster once and it turned out to be simply the fuse in the plug.

yeagh... but a fuse doesnt make a psst sound when it goes... deffo not the fuse anyways.... its a ******.... I bought it off Roy so I might ask him for my money back hahahahahahahaha Only kiddin Roy :)

Hi telesat tv repairs in Blackburn are very reasonable. They even come and collect your tv and return it when fixed. They will ring you to let you know the cost of the repair before they actually fix it to make sure its ok. Their number is 01254 678919. Hope this helps you.

mmm no I have to admit I've never heard a fuse go psst either. I just hope for the most optimistic possibility first.

I have hit mine in the past when its stopped working, seems it comes back to life when i do it :rolleyes:
