Dr. WHo's Tardis Arrives In The Kitchen

I fell asleep last night with the telly on, I awoke to the following advert:-

JML 'Toasta Bags' TV ad - 30 sec advert

I watched it and at first thought, WOW!

Then I thought, what sort of toaster are they using? As delicious as that food looks and so much easier than using my much neglected 'Toastie Maker',

I then realised that rather than two pieces of bread and all that delicious food, I can only fit one piece of bread in the slot! So I'm not going to waste my money on a re-washable bag, It would take ages to hammer it all in and how long would I actually wait until I realised that so much food crammed into one slot means that whenever it's cooked it could never pop up the way it should!

Call the Fire Brigade now I'm making a snack.

You obviously need to update your toaster Less to one like ours with adjustable slots. It just homes in whatever width of thingy you put in - not that I'd buy those silly bags though - as for wash and re-use them?

I bought some of those once for a jokey present for Chris but for some reason Chris refused to entertain them. I must dig them out and have a go.

At that price you would have to wash and reuse them Willow:)

You can’t beat a toasting fork, a nice coal fire glowing red and some real bread.

You can’t do cheese on toast that way, except that you can by making Welsh rarebit to pour over the toast once its on your plate.

Hardly a high-tech solution to the problem JB but it was the first thing I made in the metal work class.
Don't think anyone under the age of 35 knows what a coal fire looks like.:D:D
