Yep, I've been on it for ~ 12months, no issues, good speed and consistant. they even let you use your own email server unlike a lot of other cowboys like orange.

Is this another one of those joke Sky threads engineered by Neil?

Only asking because we had one thread asking what we thought of Sky a bit back and most of us said that yes, we are very happy with Sky broadband and then Neil said the thread was started as a joke but people kept replying to it.:D

Re: sky broadband

Im on sky, have had no real problems with it

At first I had a few problems losing connection / slow browsing etc but think it takes a few weeks for the signal to settle down (so they told me there) but mine was also a new phone line so could have been that

Since then though I have had no problems and would recommend it

I have sky and the only problem i have is with the router, if you turn it off it can take an hour for you to be reconnected!

Ive never had that problem with mine since initial set-up. Have you spoken to them about it?

Em get in touch with them think you might need a new router. You will be on the phone for a while as they talk you through the test to do but I ended up with a new router. Took a day from phoning them to delivery:)

I turn mine off every night, it reconnects within minutes ( I need it to as well as I need it to work on call )

I use teh standard Sky router as well so no fancy extra kit here
