Vodafone Unlimited Mobile Broadband

From the looks of the website Vodafone are doing unlimited mobile broadband for £20/month. I'm very tempted by it as my internet in Hull is absolutely shocking, can't even stream iplayer/youtube properly.

Its Vodafone business who close at 7, going to try ringing tomorrow to find out if there are any fair usage limits. As far as I can see in the terms and conditions there is no fair usage on this package. Its named 'never pay more' so fingers crossed.

May be a good deal for some of you? I know vodafone have good coverage in Hull/Accrington but they're patchy in more rural areas, I know Three are much better. Three's best package is 15gig/£15 but it's a two year contract and I'm not sure I wouldn't go over 15gig..

i have a 3 dongle, on payg....i find that £15 usage a month is more than enough for us...Reece is always on youtube and the streaming on that is fine, i dont find anything slow either

that unlimited offer sounds good too, is it on contract? if so, for how long?

i wouldnt have a contract, i dont like being tied to anything

I almost laughed when the Vodafone guy responded with '5GB'. Why on earth would they advertise all their products with fixed limits, including 5GB ones, then offer two business products, one '3GB' and one 'Never pay more' when the never pay more one has a 5GB limit!

What limit do you have flashy on the £15? I take it its with Three? I use the internet an awful lot but I guess with Pay and Go I can't go wrong. It's mainly browsing... I want to replace my home internet until at least September, and broadband on the train would be handy!

i am on 3 (thats what i said in the first place ya daft sod;))

i only get 3 gig, but like i said, thats more than enough per month for me and Reece, i sometimes have some usage left the day before i have to top up, and i use that for downloading, other than the downloading i never have to limit myself to usage

Well three here seems to be dreadfully slow, slower than 512k. Despite it being fast when I tried it a year ago.. :/

I gave you a heck of a lot more credit andrewb.. anyone who offers "unlimited" anything is either lying or doesn't know enough about what they are offering.. there is no such thing as unlimited

It's blazingly fast now! Weird. K-P, I've previously had 'unlimited' broadband for home which had no fair usage, and I was never contacted to keep my bandwidth down. Therefore when a provider that has been consistently announcing '3GB' 5GB' etc packages comes along, and offers 'never pay more than £20' its worth ringing them at least.
