Free Solaris training

For anyone interested in doing some Unix sys admin basic training there are courses available on the Sun website. You need to register but its free to do so.

Not for everyone obviously but if you are thinking of a career in IT or wish to broaden your skills beyond Windows its some basic stuff that will stand you in good stead in pretty much any Unix/Linux system role.

Spent 10 years using Solaris and liked it. As entwisis says its good for those who like unix and all forms of linux. Though can be a pain at times for compatability with other programs but there are some work arounds for it.
